Garden Progress

Now that the weather has started to cool down (though we're still above 30ºC), we decided to tackle the garden. I really want to grow grass out there and make it pretty, though we're not sure it's going to grow very well. But, hey!, we're gonna give it a shot.

First of all, I have to share the before photos so you can fully understand the work that has been put into this backyard over the past two months.

As you can see, the garden was a complete disaster. It was full of overgrown weeds, old appliances, rusty metal poles and a lot more (as well as unwanted wildlife). We knew as soon as we saw it that it wouldn't be easy, especially not with the heat.

We started by throwing out all the things that didn't belong there and that we obviously, didn't want to keep. Then it was time to get rid of all those plants and weeds.

If we wanted to grow grass we needed to air the soil and flatten it down a bit, so that's what we did.

After about a month of hard work, this is what we have now:

Pretty clean, huh?

Wanna see an amazing before and after pic?

What do you think? Has anyone else been clearing out the garden? Please share your thoughts in the comments below!!!
